Sprouts Farm Camp
Spend the week immersed in our outdoor classroom and nature play space. Campers will have the opportunity to harvest and cook snacks from the garden, make garden art, meet and care for our resident goats and chickens, collect chicken eggs, and join in on class fire circles. Daily routines are designed to connect children with the natural world through hands-on interactions with food, animals, and wildcrafting. Sprouts Farm Camp is grounded in forest school principles with ample outdoor child-directed play, play invitations, and guided food and nature-based education.
Summer camps are led by licensed and experienced Worms and Wildflowers instructors, who have completed early childhood and first aid training. Instructors provide a welcoming, comfortable environment where children are free to explore their interests, ask questions, and lead their play.

ABOUT US
Worms and Wildflowers Nature School is an LLC and operates on the three-acre residential property of Denise and Topher Matthews in White Rock, New Mexico. Denise Matthews is the director and lead-educator, while Topher assists with operations and is a guest teacher. Our programs offer outdoor, all-weather, early childhood education in a comforting home like environment. Whole child and place-based education guide our daily activities through gardening, food production, animal care, and nature play.
Classes and programs operate out of an outdoor living classroom and inside studio space with a kitchen and bathroom. Our outdoor living classroom includes a nature play area, a large garden, and a greenhouse. Also accessible on our property is a wild fort building area next to the goat barn and chicken coop.
